What is PRP?

PRP, or platelet rich plasma, is a substance harvested from your own blood that is full of growth factors that can help to naturally regenerate your skin from the inside out. This makes it ideal for addressing fine lines and wrinkles, scarring, mild sagging, and sun damage.

Your blood is made up of red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets. The plasma and platelets are the essential elements that can help to renew collagen and stimulate cell growth.

To obtain the platelet rich plasma we first take samples of your blood, and then put it in a centrifuge to separate out the PRP from the rest of the blood. This gathered PRP is then inserted under the skin.

This therapy is one that takes time to see the results. You’ll notice improvements in your skin in around four weeks after each 30 minute session, with improvements continuing months afterwards. Most people require 3 sessions to see the best results, with 4 to 6 weeks between each session.

Because PRP is harvested from your own blood there is zero risk of an allergic reaction occurring.

What is eDermastamp?

eDermastamp is a micro-needling device that penetrates the skin’s lower layers. This creates tiny wounds within the skin which promote expedited cell growth and collagen renewal, much as your skin seeks to repair itself quickly if you have a cut. Because the holes in your skin are tiny there is no risk of scarring occurring.

eDermastamp may be used as a beauty therapy on its own, however its true power lies in the way that it can be combined with other beauty therapies for increased results.
