eDermastamp is a form of precise micro-needling, a treatment used to promote cellular and collagen growth beneath the surface of the skin. By creating miniscule wounds within the skin’s layers, that close almost as soon as they are opened, micro-needling drives the skin to regenerate and repair itself from the inside out, while producing new collagen and elastin.
eDermastamp can be used to deliver substances within the skin such as hyaluronic acid or platelet rich plasma to obtain even better results from your combined treatment.
What Is eDermastamp Used For?
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Deep wrinkles
- Mildly sagging skin
- Dull skin
- Acne marks
- Reducing the size of pores
- Stretch marks
What Is Involved In eDermastamp Treatment?
The length of your treatment with eDermastamp depends on the size of the area that you would like to treat. For most people, this will be around one and a half hours.
Prior to treatment, we numb the area to be treated with an anaesthetic cream to reduce any associated pain from the procedure.
The machine head itself is comprised of 6 very fine needles which extend and contract at a rate of 50 to 150 pricks per second. The head is moved over the skin carefully in the desired areas to treat.
Is eDermastamp suitable for my skin?
eDermastamp is suitable for all skin types, and will not cause hyperpigmentation, as the case can be with some other therapies.
Will eDermastamp Treatment Hurt?
We use a topical numbing agent before treatment to ensure that any discomfort you feel is significantly reduced.
How Many Treatments Are Needed?
You will likely notice the benefits of just one session of eDermastamp micro-needling, however a course of 3 sessions is common for most people to obtain the best results. With more deeper wrinkles or more pronounced scarring, you may need up to 6 sessions. You should leave around 6 weeks between treatment sessions.
When Will I See The Results Of My Treatment?
You will begin to notice the results of your treatment around 4 to 6 weeks afterwards. You skin will continue to improve for 6 to 12 months after having eDermastamp treatment.
Are There Any Side Effects Of eDermastamp?
You may experience slight bleeding during the treatment. Afterwards, you may be red and feel warm, and have skin tightness for an hour or two, but your skin will be all back to normal in 24 hours – 48 hours.
How Long Does eDermastamp Treatment Last?
After you have had your course of eDermastamp treatments, all that’s needed for upkeep is a once a year session.
